Meet Trippy the Traveling Ukulele!
With the help of its human sidekick (Alex), Trippy is attempting to be the 1st musical instrument in history to play music in every country in the world.
The end result: 195 short music videos. One for each country in the world, plus countless interviews with musicians, artists, and interesting characters from all over the world. Trippy has already been to more than a dozen countries, and you can follow Trippy’s adventures on Instagram, YouTube, and Tiktok.
Partnership with UNICEF
Throughout the project, Alex and Trippy will also help raise money for the international non-profit UNICEF, which does incredible work in 190 countries. They have the goal of raising $1 million usd for UNICEF via corporate sponsors, over the course of 10 years (starting in 2023).

Why is Trippy traveling around the world?
Trippy wants to connect the world through music and culture, and for people to see the human experience through the eyes of artists, musicians, and interesting characters from around the world. The idea came from Trippy’s human (Alex), who was inspired by Anthony Bourdain’s ability to use food as a gateway into culture. This project aims to do the same, but using art and music instead of food.
This very ambitious project will take about 10 years to complete, and we’d LOVE to meet you in your home country, whenever we make it there (let us know!).
